“Do you sell a replacement inner cover for your beds? While washing her outer cover our chocolate lab decided it would be a great idea to tear open the inner shell and build a cocoon out of the fleece. I’d rather buy a replacement than rely on my dad’s old remedy of duct tape. I couldn’t find one on-line and was hoping you offered a replacement.

“I recently purchased a Big Shrimpy Nest bed for my seven year old, 67 lb. retired racing Greyhound. On a trip last weekend with a friend, my Greyhound, the Nest bed, and another Greyhound, one of the dogs had an (Uh Hum) “accident” in the back of the SUV and on the Nest bed.

“Miss. Pearl the White Faced Girl and Theo’ dorable enjoyed their Big Shrimpy beds while camping. These two beds (in addition to the monster size one that nearly fills the bed of our truck a.k.a. dog bed on wheels) were purchased at the Pet Loft in Portland Oregon. Not only do we love the Pet Loft–we love Big Shrimpy pet beds so much that we will never purchase another brand!

My husband and I have a 5 year old 90 lb Pointer/Lab mix and a 13 year old 45 lb German Shorthaired Pointer, who is one of many foster dogs we’ve taken in. We’re a very environmentally conscious family, and it’s been heartbreaking for us to have to replace several dog beds that got really filthy and smelly and yet didn’t stand up to the rigors of washing, or were impossible to take apart and wash.
