“Miss. Pearl the White Faced Girl and Theo’ dorable enjoyed their Big Shrimpy beds while camping. These two beds (in addition to the monster size one that nearly fills the bed of our truck a.k.a. dog bed on wheels) were purchased at the Pet Loft in Portland Oregon. Not only do we love the Pet Loft–we love Big Shrimpy pet beds so much that we will never purchase another brand!
Some may think the purchase price is a bit steep, but from experience I can testify that they are well worth the investment. Before the Pet Loft recommended the Big Shrimpy bed for the elderly Miss. Pearl, I had spent a great deal of money on pet beds over my decades of living with pets. The last one which cost $65.00 had the zipper break with the first washing, and with it being ten days past the “unnamed chain stores” 30 day return policy, I was left with a high priced cheap piece of foam and a cover that would not close.
Not only are the Big Shrimpy pet beds nice looking to live with, they are soft yet durable on the resting area, the sides, bottoms, and zippers are super tough. In addition to the outer cover being washable, they have a rip and moisture resistant inner liner that covers washable fleece (note: Big Shrimpy beds are now filled with washable SmartFill) stuffing. Our monster size Big Shrimpy pet bed is over three years old, has been washed countless times, and is still in perfect condition. Our (more manageable sized) newest beds you see in the picture have been from room to room in our home, in and out of the vehicles, on trips to grandmas, and now are back from camping where they were plenty roughed up from pitch, rocks and sticks–and they still washed up to look good as new back at home. I have never endorsed a product before, but being I am so happy with these beds felt it was worth the little bit of effort to let others know.”
